The first step to becoming a part of I Shall Wear A Crown is affirming your commitment to serving others. With a shared mission of inspiring more to answer the call to service, Start Reigning celebrates the impact we can all make in bettering our communities and our world. If you are interested in participating in  I Shall Wear A Crown classes, programs and/or competitions, complete your brief Start Reigning profile provided below. You may then proceed to register for I Shall Wear A Crown classes, programs and services. Start Reigning is a missions and volunteer awards program, encouraging us to live a life of service. We encourage you to take a look around, be inspired and take positive action that changes the world. Participation in our volunteer awards program is open to all at no cost.
Start Reigning's goals are drawn from the actions and targets contained in the Millennium Declaration/the Millennium Development Goals that were adopted by 191 member countries of the United Nations, during the United Nations Millennium Summit in September 2000.
The Millennium Declaration/the Millennium Development Goals includes:
  • eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
  • achieve universal primary education  
  • promote gender equality and empower women 
  • reduce child mortality 
  • improve maternal health 
  • combat HIV/AIDS, cancer, malaria and other diseases 
  • ensure environmental sustainability
  • develop a global partnership for development

Other areas of Start Reigning's focus include the following:
  • ensure a fair representation of the citizens, hard to count individuals
  • public accountability, just governance and the fulfillment of human rights trade justice
  • a major increase in the quantity and quality of aid and financing for development
  • definitive debt cancelations
  • develop assistance for the medical needs of the poor 
  • volunteers and mentorship
  • rehabilitation and preparedness for the incarcerated
  • ensure justice in criminal system 
  • ensure elderly rights and quality care
  • implement non- violent conflict resolution strategies
  • reduce child abduction
